Buttercream icing is the traditional icing of wedding
cakes.  In order to blend the traditional with the
modern, we always put a nice layer of buttercream
on all of our cakes, and then use fondant for final
top-coats.  These cakes were created before we
began using fondant, and realized it's capabilities
for keeping a cake fresh, withstanding outdoor
temps for wedding, and of course, giving those
cakes that satin smooth finish!
We now create all our wedding cakes with the
fondant as the final layer of icing.  If you are
unsure of the fondant, please call us to schedule a
tasting! Our fondant is made from scratch in our
shop, and is very well received by all of our clients!!
